Iron is a guest to the earth because it came from outside of this globe. The earth, even the sun, cannot produce iron. This metal was dispatched from supernova. Supernova is a luminous stellar explosion.

I used this concept to create a painting. The melting watercolor effect from iron forms represents ‘the sent down iron’. Gears and machines represent iron. Compositionally, I put iron at the upper position to convey that iron is a guest to the earth.

This painting was inspired by Al-Quran letter Al-Hadid verse 25 which states that iron is a material that was sent down to earth.
